Protesters in London have taken to the streets in what they call the ‘Welfare Not Warfare’ demonstration.
The protesters accuse Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government of slashing welfare and foreign aid budgets to increase military spending. The government recently announced reforms to the welfare system to save over $6 billion annually.
